Assetto Corsa Rally Update 0.6 Adds Three New Cars, Photo Mode and Private

Assetto Corsa Rally update 0.6 is available today, adding three new rally cars along with Photo Mode, private lobbies, custom liveries and 18 new events spread across three event groups.

The new cars cover a few very different eras of rally racing, starting with the 1980 Audi Quattro Gr.4, an early version of the car that helped change the sport with its turbocharged five-cylinder engine and four-wheel-drive system. The 1999 Peugeot 206 WRC joins it as the early version of a car that would become one of the most recognizable rally machines of the 2000s, while the 2018 Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 brings something much more modern with its 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and permanent four-wheel drive.

Photo Mode gives players a full set of tools for capturing shots from races, replays, the service park and main menu, making it easier to freeze a favorite moment or put together cleaner screenshots. Private lobbies are another welcome addition, allowing players to set up their own online sessions and choose the stage, car, weather and other event settings before racing with friends.

Custom livery support arrives as the first step toward broader community-created content. Players can create and save multiple designs while changing stickers, colors, paint roughness, metallic values and coat gloss using standard photo or paint editing software, with a guide included in the game files to help get everything set up.

Update 0.6 marks another fairly substantial expansion for Assetto Corsa Rally, particularly for players looking for more ways to customize the experience outside of simply running stages. Supernova Games Studios says the livery tools are only the beginning of its plans for modding support with more community creation options expected in future updates. The game currently 20% off for a limited time on Steam. Check out the full patch notes below.
