Check out our new gameplay teaser!
So far, we have:
- Added spawnable turret mechanics.
- Improved the ship's vitals UI - they are now visible on the ship.
- Improved the enemies' behaviour and added indicators when enemies are approaching.
- Added energy cost to shooting and casting abilities.
- When the ship runs out of energy, firing and casting abilities are unavailable until energy is restored
- Added the ability to grab & toss not only asteroids, but also debris, satellites, and small enemies.
New Ability - Spawn Turrets
Spawns 2 turrets near the ship for a set amount of time. The turrets can be moved and tossed via the Drone Magnet, and will attack enemies in range. The ship can have up to 6 turrets active at a time.
New Ability - Focus Fire
Instead of firing continuously from all cannons, the ship fires from all cannons at once, dealing concentrated damage to the target. Good against clusters of enemies or large targets.
New Ability - Grab & Toss
The Drone Magnet can now grab & toss not only asteroids, but also debris, satellites, and small enemies. Anything smaller than the player's ship can be tossed at an enemy as a projectile!
What's Next?
Here is some stuff we are already working on:
- More unique ships and weapons
- Finalizing story quests and dialogue
- Major optimization
- New ship crew abilities
- Advanced scout duck control mechanics
- Vendor interactions
- Level map for the upcoming demo!
Thank you to everyone who bears with us! We are working towards the demo :)
