MapleStory previews a robot-filled content update and upcoming seasonal events

MapleStory might not be the first place you would think to find mech-related content, but perhaps it’s time to change that presumption, particularly because a preview post for its next update appears to be just chock-full of tokusatsu and big robot things. At least in a thematic sense.

One of the highlights for the next update is the Omega Sector Midnight Carnival event, which will task players with helping the M-Forcers protect the festival from alien invaders, play minigames, and build up the giant Mesotron-S mech. As usual, players can expect a wide assortment of goodies, one of which being a floating robot suit cosmetic.

In addition to the Midnight Carnival event, the update will add several new updates and additions to hexa skills, tee up a Halloween-themed Night of the Yeti event, and feature a winter countdown event that grants rewards for logins and daily missions. Meanwhile in other versions of the game, MapleStory: Idle RPG has added a boss fight against the famous Pink Bean along with Pink Bean-themed events and gameplay updates, while sales of the founder’s packs for MapleStory Classic World have officially come online for those who want to buy their way into the server ahead of full release.
