The summer is winding down, and that means it’s time to cool off in Warframe. How so? Why, by looking forward to the Iceblade of Narin update previewed in the game’s most recent development stream broadcast live from Seoul. And there’s quite a bit going on with the update when it comes out on September 23rd, with players gaining access to the game’s 66th Warframe, Narin herself. She skates along ice, heals and harms, and wields a blade. Yes, that’s why they call it that.

Players will also be able to take on the new six-player mission Glacial Defiance with a pre-made squad, new Entropic Eximus enemies on the Zariman Ten Zero requiring cooperation with Cephalon Melica, and enjoy the new Riven features like locking stats from rerolling and merging stats into new ones. On top of that, there’s the new Citrine Prime, new skins for Banshee and Qorvex, a Banshee rework to make her more viable across a wide variety of playstyles, and even an upcoming event in mid-October to help kick off the upcoming departure for Tau in-game. Check out the full update preview page, and remember, all of this arrives on the eminently cool date of September 23rd.
