Forza Horizon 6 Is Still Due To Hit PS5 In 2026, Says Playground Games

Playground Games has revealed in a post for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update, British Automotive, that the PS5 version of racer is still on track to launch in 2026.

“If you’re planning your trip to Discover Japan on PlayStation 5, stay tuned! Forza Horizon 6 will be releasing on PS5 later this year, and you can add the game to your wishlist on the PlayStation Store to be notified of availability,” reads the post. That’s about all we know right now, with a concrete date still yet to be confirmed.

Rumours of a delay for the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6 originated last week, when Tom Warren of the Verge stated that he’s “not expecting to see Forza Horizon 6 on PS5 in 2026. IGN added that it “understands this to be accurate,” although given the above statement from Playground Games it appears the game is still on track for this year.

Forza Horizon 6 was released for PC and Xbox Series X/S in May 2026.
