Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is celebrating its second anniversary, and developer Dragami Games has released a free update to mark the occasion.
Here’s the full details:
A new “Party Dress” costume has been added to LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP to celebrate its 2nd anniversary. Juliet is dressed up in a stylish party dress, enjoying the anniversary celebration. But outside the venue, there are still hordes of zombies…!? Take on the zombie hordes in style with Juliet’s new look! A new photo frame has also been added to make the anniversary even more special. Dress up Juliet and capture a memorable photo to commemorate the occasion!
Lollipop Chainsaw was originally released for PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012. The game takes place in California, US, and follows cheerleader Juliet Starling as she battles against zombies in the midst of an undead outbreak. Juliet uses chainsaws as her primary weapon, and can unlock additional attacks as players progress, including the Chainsaw Dash and Chainsaw Blaster.
The lollipop part of the game’s title stems from the lollipops Juliet collects that replenish her health, with the maximum depending on the difficulty chosen. The game was remastered in the form of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP in September 2024 for modern platforms.
Dragami Games confirmed recently that a new Lollipop Chainsaw game is now in development and will be playable at Tokyo Game Show later this month.
